FM-3 BUSINESS VISA REQUIREMENTS

                                   

ISSUED TO: SALES AGENTS, PURCHASING AGENTS, IMPORTERS, EXPORTERS, FOR ATTENDING BOARD OR DIRECTORS MEETTINGS OF MEXICAN COMPANIES, GUIDES, OR APPOINTMENT TO AMERICAN CONSULATES IN MEXICO.

  • Valid passport and one photocopy of passport. (Passport must have at least one year of validity remaining. If your passport has less than one year remaining you might be granted the FM3 FOR THE PERIOD OF TIME REMAINING    if the person is a legal resident of the U.S.A., a copy of the front and back of the ALIEN RESIDENT CARD (green card) is required also.
  • Letter addressed to the Consulate General of Mexico by the American

Company the person represents that must state the following:

    •  The specific activities to be conducted in Mexico.
    •  The person will reside in the U.S.A.
    •  Time requested and length of stay(s) in Mexico, not to exceed     three (3) consecutive days per visit.
    •  The salary that  applicant receives, and that salary  will be paid in the United States.
  • Proof that the company exists by one of the following:  letter of credit from the bank, letter from the Chamber of Commerce, or a copy of the business registration.
  • Two front view pictures passport size. No automatic machine photos will be accepted.
  • Application form filled out completely.
  • 98.00 dllspaid in cash only and if there is a visa required 36 dlls extra no money orders, company personal or cashier’s checks will be accepted.

ATTENTION:   Applications are accepted between the hours of 8:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m.  MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.   ALL APPLICANTS MUST WAIT AT THE MEXICAN CONSULATE OFFICE UNTIL THEIR DOCUMENT IS APPROVED BY THE MEXICAN IMMIGRANTION  IN MEXICO
