The mission of the Department of Economic Affairs of the General Consulate of Mexico in San Diego is to promote trade opportunities and business development. In coordination with ProMexico, the trade promotion agency of the Mexican government, this Consular Representation seeks to identify those companies interested in doing business with their counterparts in Mexico, those that would like to invest in our country, as well as those who search to export.
Tourism Promotion is an important part of the Department of Economic Affairs. Mexico offers a wide variety of opportunities for those who want to visit the country for tourism, business, and academic purposes among others.

El Departamento de Asuntos Económicos del Consulado General de México en San Diego tiene la misión de promover oportunidades de comercio y el desarrollo de negocios. Esta Representación, en coordinación con ProMéxico, busca identificar aquellas compañías interesadas en realizar negocios con sus contrapartes en México y aquellas que estén interesadas en realizar alguna inversión en nuestro país. También ofrece apoyo a proveedores mexicanos que busquen exportar sus productos.
